It's past two in the morning and true to my nature as a nocturnal creature, I am still wide awake or should I say I am forced to. My friend SB is having so many complicated things going around her mind that she dared put me in front of her laptop and write this stuff.
Her dilemmas: 1) Work and 2) Love life. SB is a fresh graduate and is currently frictional unemployed. She's been looking and applying for work in various institutions but she received no job offer yet. She doesn't know whether she'd just stay at home and wait for her job offer from the first institution she applied to or look and try to apply in other institutions for future options just in case.
The second dilemma isn't actually a dilemma but a long time and on going problem she's been battling all along. Love life doesn't sound so true or real. In fact, it sounds stupid, foolish and unreal. I mean, who cares? Isn't it man for him/herself? Or is it that no man is an island? Okay, so she's not an island (meaning she'snot totally alone) 'cause she got me and her family and friends. But then the foolish girl wants something more. Actually she wants someone whom she can call hers. It seems like she's not really satisfied with just me by her side all this time. Poor girl, she's now past 20 years old and still got not even one lover. Her love is always one-sided and she's getting frustrated now. Her frustration and depression is turning on and off from time to time. And now that it's turned on, she's lingering to her past crushes again. Like a stalker, she checks their profile in social networks and reads their status. Tsk, tsk, what to do? But then I can't do anything to stop her. Well for one thing, I don't think it's that bad. She's just looking (or so it seems). And because she's not seeing them for a while she feels like she's losing some of her foolish inspiration and so she goes back to peeping into her crushes' profiles. Yes, you read it right - crusheS. She got more than one and to make it worse, they're younger than her. Growing into a cougar, huh? Maybe this is what all these empty years has brought her - falling for someone not her age.
